those ex’s, the one you spent an insane amount of time with, sometimes even your first love, those ex’s, are the reason highschool is a shit hole. if i could go my day without seeing or even hearing about my ex, my first love, and how her life has gone back to normal without me in it, i would enjoy my days instead of dreading them. its not a matter of wanting them back, it’s moreso a matter of knowing that you both once had something so strong and so true, but it withered away into nothing because one of you changed. i’ll admit it, i miss her. and i think i will every time i see her. but she isnt the one i fell in love with, she changed, thus the reason shes my ex. even so, it doesnt change the fact that she taught me what love is. she saved me from the overwhelming thoughts of suicide, forever grateful. it doesnt change the fact that for 20 months, she was my world. the one i did everything for, and the one i never struggled to find feelings with. for me, its been so difficult to fall for another like i did her, i almost have. but its nights like tonight where she seeps through to my mind. i love lily, everyone who reads these things knows that. shes my world now. i just wish my ex would hurry up and go to college so i wouldnt have the constant reminders of a strong love i so desperately hope what i have now becomes..
